Rack-type door closures are equipped with a closure housing (2) containing brake fluid and with a rack piston (5) which is displaceable therein and is in engagement with a closure-shaft pinion (8) and which possesses two piston heads (5', 5'') located on both sides of its toothed connecting web (5<IV>). Such door closures can be equipped not only with a conventional closing-damping device (9), but also with an opening-damping device (10) which also has a non-return valve and a plurality of transverse bores (18', 18'', 18''') connected to one another by means of a longitudinal bore (18) containing a throttle-valve screw (17). So that such door closures can be constructed even more simply and produced more easily especially as regards their opening-damping device, the opening-damping device (10) is arranged together with the closing-damping device (9) on the same side of the closure housing (2), namely on its side facing away from the closure spring (6), whilst the head (5') of the rack piston (5) facing the damping devices (9, 10) is without a fluid passage, whereas its other head (5'') is provided with a fluid passage (5<V>), and the non-return valves (14, 20) of the two damping devices (9, 10) are arranged in their longitudinal bores (12 and 18). <IMAGE> |
