<p>This invention relates to polymeric, preferably heat recoverable, articles carrying fusible or flowable electrically conductive material, and a process for making such articles. A problem with such articles is that the conductive material generally has to be inserted into the formed article on an item-by-item basis, which is costly. The present article, in contrast, can be made quickly and conveniently, and comprises a polymeric material (2,3) that has been seam bonded through the electrically conductive material (1) so as to displace the conductive material (1) from the resulting seam (4).
