PURPOSE:To attain operation without observing a display by detecting it that the sound volume of the left/right channels is equal to each other while either key of two balance keys is operated continuously and inhibiting the key input of the balance keys operated continuously after the detection. CONSTITUTION:When the balance 'L' key 52 or the balance 'R' key 53 is operated, data and a clock are sent to increase the sound volume of one channel and to decrease the sound volume of the other channel, and the processing in operating the key is executed in terms of software by a CPU 20. When the center balance state is reached while the balance key is depressed continuous ly, the reception of consecutive depression is stopped at that point of time, then the so-called center click effect is obtained, and the center balance state is obtained simply and surely. Thus, the operation without observing the display is attained and the titled method is suitable for an on-vehicle equipment operated frequently without confirming the display. |
