<p>PURPOSE:To prevent adherence of mists to the titled exhcanger by circulating and mixing a part of a gas heated at the outlet of the heat exchanger into a gas at the inlet of the heat exchanger prior to heating, when heating exhaust gas containing mists. CONSTITUTION:A part of high temperature gas at the outlet of a processing gas side heat exchanger 9 is returned to the inlet of the processing gas side heat exchanger 9 through a circulating flue 11, and is mixed with a processing gas of a main flue 12, whereby the temperature of the porcessing gas side is increased, and the moisture within the mist contained an exhaust gas is evaporated to prevent the adherence to the heat transfer surface. By this procedure, adherence of mists to the heat transfer surface of the heat exchanger is prevented without stopping of the operation at the exhaust gas generating source such as upstream boiler or the like by a simple method and without producing secondary discharge materials such as washing water or the like to thereby prevent the adherence of mists to the heat transfer surface of the heat exchanger and corrosion of the heat transfer surface of the heat exchanger, increase of pressure loss, and lowering of heat transfer rate at the gas side.</p> |
