PURPOSE:To prevent the staining of a ventilating fan by a method in which a discharge electrode is provided on the air suction side, and an electric potential of the same pole as the discharge electrode is applied to the staining portion in contact with discharge gas flow. CONSTITUTION:A fibrous discharge electrode 10 is attached to the center of an air suction port 13 side, a foiled metal plate 11 is attached to the bellmouth of an orifice 6, and a high-tension voltage of the same pole is applied between the electrode 10 and the metal plate 11 through a transformer 12. By this, corona discharge occurs from the suction side electrode 10 to ionize air, and thereby dust in the exhaust gas flow is charged electrically and flows into a ventilating fan. At the time, the foiled metal plate 11 of the orifice is also charged in the same electric potential. Therefore, a repulsion force is generated in the dust and the dust is thus discharged to the outside without adhering to the orifice. Thus, the staining of the ventilating fan can be prevented. |
