PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a copying machine by using the air spacing between the 1st lens system which forms intermediate images and the 2nd lens system which forms the intermediate images on a photosensitive surface as the moving space for scanning mirrors. CONSTITUTION:An imaging lens system which forms an erecting unmagnification system is constituted of the 1st lens systemIwhich moves at the same speed as the speed of the 1st scanning mirror 4 in the same direction and the 2nd lens system II which is stuck between the 2nd scanning mirror 5 and a photoreceptor 6, and the air spacing between the 1st systemIand the 2nd system II is used as a scanning space for the mirror 5. Therefore, the moving distance is made shorter than about 1,000mm. conjugate distance of conventional mirror scanning systems and since the air spacing is used, the size of the copying machine is reduced. |
