The installation uses sensible and latent heat energy of the waste gas from the combustion of oil or gas and/or from the ambient air, which is removed from the waste gas and/or the ambient air in a waste gas cooler containing an evaporator (20) of a heat pump and is transmitted to the water conducted in the heating circuit in a heat exchanger which is arranged in the return run and contains the condenser of the heat pump (2), which water flows, preheated, through the heating boiler (1) and is possibly further heated with additional heating from the combustion of oil or gas, heat also being transmitted to domestic water. The waste gas cooler (10) is divided by an inlet channel, which passes through it longitudinally, and the evaporator units into an inlet chamber (10.1), a mixing chamber (10.2) and a gas collecting and flow-off chamber (10.3), the waste gas flowing via slot-shaped recesses (19) in the wall of the inlet channel and the ambient air via corresponding slot-shaped recesses (18) in the side walls of the waste gas cooler into the mixing chamber, the side walls of the waste gas cooler forming further channel-like admission chambers. <IMAGE> |
