PURPOSE:To set a pickup cartridge with good perpendicularity without any center deviation with simple consitution by press fitting the projecting part of a plug at the rear end of the pickup cartridge into the recess of a setting body and tightening a set screw through the wall of the recessed part and the recess in the projecting part of the plug. CONSTITUTION:The projecting part 7 of a plug of a square shape provided at the rear end of a body 3 of a pickup cartridge 1 is press fitted into the recessed part 12 of a square shape provided at the preceding end of a head shell 2, and the rear end of the body 3 thereof is fitted into a recess 11 provided at the preceding end of the shell 2. As a result, the output terminals 9a, 10b provided to said projecting part 7 are connected to the electrical connector provided in the recessed part 12. Further, a set screw 15 is tightened into the hole provided to the shell 2, whereby the right and left walls 13a, 13b of the shell 2 are attracted to each other, and the cartridge 1 is set to the shell 2. |
