发明名称 OPERATING METHOD OF WAVEFORM OBSERVING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To permit multiple color displaying including symbols without intricate circuits by using a cathode-ray tube having >=2 kinds of phosphors differing in afterglow time and emission colors and setting sweep speeds, repetitive periods and blanking time. CONSTITUTION:A phosphor layer of 210msec 10% afterglow time and B12 orange emission color and a phosphor of 0.1musec 10% afterglow time and B16 blue purple emission light are provided on a fluorescent surface 13 from the inner side of a panel 12. When the fluorescent surface is excited by pulses of 1/60-1/20sec repetitive periods of 10-100nsec pulse width with respect to the luminance rising and attenuating characteristics 21 of the B16 phosphor of the short afterglow time and the luminance rising and attenuating characteristics 22 of the B12 phosphor of the long afterglow time, only the B16 phosphor of fast rising is excited and the surface is displayed in a red purple color. When said surface is excited by pulses of 10musec-200msec pulse width and 1/20-1/500sec repetitive period, said surface is displayed by the pink purple color wherein the emission colors of both B16 and B12 phosphors are mixed.
