The convection stove has a stove housing (1) for receiving a first electrical radiator with openings for the convection air formed in the upper and lower (5) housing walls. For the purpose of selectively generating a number of different air currents in the stove housing (1), an axial blower (8) is furthermore provided with an associated second radiator (15), which axial blower blows out via an opening (11) in the side wall of the stove housing (1). The blower wheel (9) of the axial blower (8) is enclosed by an air duct (10), which protrudes at least partially in depth into the stove housing (1) and is securely connected in a fixed or detachable manner to a ventilation grid (12) engaging across the opening (11) in the side wall. <IMAGE>
