A toilet having a unit made of sanitary china or equivalent material, which unit comprises a toilet bowl 1 and a sewage pipe 2 connected thereto, the outer end of which pipe is located close to the rearmost edge of the toilet, and a casing 3 surrounding the sewage pipe 2. At the rearmost edge of the casing 3 there is an opening close to the outer end of the sewage pipe 2 and this opening is provided with a detachable cover, preferably made of plastic or equivalent soft material. A solution is hereby achieved which allows the fitting of both standard toilets and toilets with concealed discharge, the distance between the fixed sewage pipe and the nearest wall remaining the same. <IMAGE> |
