An electrical switch, which is provided especially as a motor vehicle light switch, is proposed, in which, in order to achieve a high switching rate causing little mechanical wear of the contact parts and precise maintenance of the switching points, the contact means are constructed as independent snap-switching systems which are arranged grouped around the switching shaft and are held in the housing, and whose operating parts have allocated to them one or more cam webs which are connected to the switching shaft.
