PURPOSE:To reduce fuel consumption and improve an engine brake effect, by closing a control air valve of idle speed feedback provided in a throttle bypass intake passage when a throttle valve is fully closed further a car speed is at least a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:On the basis of detecting values of engine speed sensor, car speed sensor, throttle sensor, water temperature sensor, etc., a control circuit, which controls the opening timing of a fuel injection valve and a control air valve of idle speed feedback provided in a throttle bypass intake passage, decides if in a state of feedback control for an idle speed in a step S1, if in a state of feedback control, to proceed to a step S2 of air valve feedback control routine. The control circuit, if decided by steps S3, S5, S6 not in a state of feedback control further not neutral still further with a throttle valve fully closed and a car speed at least about 10Km/h, proceeds to a step S7 to fully close the air valve. |
