PURPOSE:To permit the coating operation for every size of papers as well as to raise the efficiency of gravure printing by using a system in which the action ranges of a cam and an auxiliary doctor are freely regulated. CONSTITUTION:In the case of gravure printing, the whole of a doctor-detachable cam is removed from a cam base, and then the contact pressure of a main doctor 30 to a plate 18 is adjusted by a regulatory screw 32. Also, an auxiliary doctor 58 is retracted from the plate 18 and ink 19 is stored in an ink tank 20. When operating the press base, a plate cylinder 7 and an inking roller 21 are turned, ink 19 is supplied to the whole surface of the plate 18 and scraped down by the main doctor 30, and the ink 19 is left only in dents to form a picture. When paper is supplied from a paper-piling base onto an inserting plate and changed from a swing to the claw of a pressure cylinder, the paper is wound around the pressure cylinder and the ink 19 in the dents of the plate 18 is transferred to the paper for gravure printing. |
