PURPOSE:To perform corrosion preventive treatments on both surfaces of weld zones simultaneously without requiring any special device such as smoke discharging devices in the stage of subjecting plated steel plates to resistance welding by forming plating layers on the welding surfaces by making use of the plating layers near the weld zones where the plating layers are dislodged. CONSTITUTION:The surface in the weld zone of a flange part 3 is a base surface 3a where a plating layer 5 is removed, and the scale 8 formed by resistance welding is stuck on said part. The plating layer 5 formed on said surface 3a is stuck on an electrode for seam welding or is displaced to around the weld zone. The same holds true in a flange part 4. The welded flange parts 3, 4 are interposed between the nozzles 12a and 14a of torches 12, 14 in upper, lower parts and the acetylene cones 17b of the neutral or reducing flames 17 blowing out from the nozzles are applied upon the same. The plating layes 5, 6 near the parts 3a, 4a are melted and are spread over the entire part of the parts 3a, 4a, whereby said parts are coated. |
