PURPOSE:To obtain a klystron capable of cooling a collector easily and with no burning by adding a collector with a smaller inner diameter on the top section of a collector electrode so as to increase the inner surface area of the top section of the collector. CONSTITUTION:A small-sized collector 2 is further added to the top section of a collector electrode 1. Thereby, the distance from the collector inlet to its top is made longer, and in addition, the surface area of the top section collecting a beam is also make larger, thus the heat loss density is reduced and the cooling is made easy, and a klystron with no burning can be available. |
