PURPOSE:To display an exact number of copied sheets even in a case when paper jam of an original has occurred in a feed device, by detecting the paper jam is occurred, responding to its output, and setting a counting value of a copying counter to ''0''. CONSTITUTION:Outputs from detecting switches 131, 133 and 135 are provided to a processing device 301 containing a microcomputer, etc. The processing device 301 is provided with a setting counter 323, a copying counter 325 for counting the number of times of copying, a feed paper counter 327, the first paper jam counter 329 for detecting the paper jam of copying paper in the rear of the carrying direction from a detecting switch 131, and the second paper jam counter 331 in the front, and when paper jam is detected, a counting value of the copying counter is set to ''0'', and is displayed, therefore, the number of times of the copying operation, accordingly, the number of sheets of copying is set to ''0'', and the display is executed exactly. |
