PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of strain and to improve sound pressure characteristics by sticking a piezoelectric body to a strip-shaped metallic plate and coupling ends of the metallic plate with a diaphragm through an annular coupler. CONSTITUTION:The piezoelectric body is stuck to the strip-shaped metallic body 14. The ends of the metallic plate 14 are connected to the annular coupler 13 through supports 15 made of rubber, etc. The coupler 13 is fixed to the diaphragm 11. When an AC signal is applied to the piezoelectric body through a lead line 18, the metallic plate 14 oscillates in an arc shape to osillate the diaphragm 14 sufficiently with small energy on the whole. Further, since split oscillation is never caused, strain is reduced. Even when the metallic plate 14 and piezoelectric body are arranged in a cross shape or when the coupler 13 and diaphragm 11 are formed rectangularly, the same effect is obtained. |
