<p>PURPOSE:To strongly fit a cap to a pipe by a method in which the cap is fused and bonded to the pipe by using a cylindrical tool to be inserted with the upper part of the pipe covered with a synthetic resin layer, a supersonic horn having a recession larger than the outside diameter of the pipe at its lower end face, and a tool elastically acting upwards in close contact with the periphery of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:In a device of fitting a cap to a pipe, a resin cap 3 attached to a cylindrical tool 5 to be inserted with the upper part of a pipe 2 covered with a synthetic resin layer 1, a supersonic horn 7 having a recession 3 larger than the outside diameter of the synthetic resin layer 1 on its lower end face, and a tool 5 elastically acting upwards in close contact with the periphery of the synthetic resin layer 1 of the pipe 2 set in the tool 5 and also housed into the recession 8 is pressed downwards being fused and bonded with the pipe 2 by means of the supersonic horn 7. Thus, strong fitting of the cap to the pipe can be attained.</p> |
