PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor having high and flat sensitivity to a wide region covering all the visible wavelengths and up to those of a semiconductor laser, and long service life, by adding a specified trisazo pigment to a charge generating layer and a specified fluorene compd. to a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:A 0.01-5mum thick charge generating layer formed on a conductive substrate contains 10-100wt% trisazo pigment having formulaIin which R is one of formula V and VI. On this layer a charge transfer layer of 2-100mum thickness is formed contg. 10-80wt% fluorene compd. having formula II in which R1 is H, halogen, CN, 1-4C alkoxy or alkyl; Ar is one of groups of formulae III, IV; R2, R3, R6 are each alkyl or benzyl, respectively optionally substd. by methoxy, Cl, methyl, or the like; and R4, R5 are each H, halogen, 1-4C alkyl or alkoxy, or dialkylamino. As a result, a photoreceptor long in service life and suitable for high-speed copying can be obtained. |
