PURPOSE:To reduce the size of an electric meter and to improve its reliability by making a magnetic adjusting steel piece of prescribed amorphous alloy. CONSTITUTION:The amorphous alloy which contains 78-90atom% iron which is substituted to <=10atom% by at least one element among titanium, vanadium, manganese, nickel, copper, zirconium, niobium, molybdenum, ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, hafnium, tantalum, tungsten, rhenium, platinum, gold, and yttrium has a superior temperature compensating function and excellent corrosion resistance. For this purpose, this amorphous alloy is used to form a magnetic adjusting piece 4 which compensates magnetic field intensity against variation in temperature of a permanent magnet 1 for driving a coil 2 united with the pointer 3 of the electric measuring instrument, and consequently its size is reduced while a pointer error against temperature variation is reduced, thereby obtaining the small-sized and improve-reliability electric measuring instrument. |
