PURPOSE:To improve the recording/reproducing efficiency of an information signal with use of various types of recording/reproducing systems, by combining a circular flexible recording medium which turns at a high speed with a recording/reproducing element. CONSTITUTION:A recording surface of an information signal is formed on a single side or both sides of a circular flexible recording medium A. A disk- shaped support member B is adhered at an end of the medium A with an adhesive, etc., and a driving shaft 19 which is driven by a motor 17 is fitted at the center part of the member B, then the medium A is turned at a high speed. Thus a tension is produced to the medium A by the centrifugal force, and as a result, the medium A is turned at a high speed with a prescribed form. Such a recording medium is combined with a recording/reproducing element to improve the recording/reproducing efficiency of the information signal with use of various types of recording/reproducing systems. |
