PURPOSE:To realize stable detection by connecting photoelectric sensors, one by one, in order and also delaying a light emission signal from a controller by the photoelectric sensors successively, and transmitting the detection signals of the photoelectric sensors to the controller without any delay. CONSTITUTION:Photoelectric switches 31-34 as the photoelectric sensors are connected to the sensor controller 1. When a light emission signal l is sent out of the controller 1, the switch 31 projects light with the signal l to output a detection signal as a downward pulse in the presence of a body to be detected at the time of the light projection. Similarly, the switches 32-34 each shift the signal l by one stage and project light with the shifted signal l respectively to output a signal (s) in the presence of the body to be detected at the time of the light projection. The controller 1, therefore, inputs the output signal of the switch 34 to recognize light projection timing corresponding to a position where the signal (s) is outputted, and specifies the photoelectric switch which projects light at the timing, thereby outputting whether the body to be detected is present in its sensing area or not. |
