PURPOSE:To eliminate faulty filling in the expansion molding of a molded form with thin thickness and permit cycle up by a method wherein filling air is stopped after effecting cracking filling and a mold is closed perfectly after closing a filler whereby the filling of material particles is finished. CONSTITUTION:A filler 4 is opened to fill material expandable thermoplastic resin particles (a) into a cavity 3 by filling air while a cavity mold 1 and a core mold 2 are not closed perfectly upon filling the particles (a) and a cracking (c) is left. When the cavity 3 is filled with the material by cracking filling, only the filling air is stopped, then, the filler 4 is closed and both molds 1, 2 are closed perfectly to eliminate the cracking (c). A final expanded molded form may be obtained by performing the processes of normal expansion molding such as heating, cooling and the like as the processes to be effected thereafter. |
