Prepn. of benzoxazolinone derivs. of formula (I) (where R1 and R2 are H or lower alkyl; A is a primary, sec. or tert. amino radical; and B is a carbonyl or hydroxymethylene radical) comprises reaction of an amine, AH with a cpd. of formula (II) (where Hal is halo). (I) have analgesic and antihypertensive properties.
