PURPOSE:To raise the recording characteristics of a multi-nozzle head having plural nozzles by a method in which a narrow groove is formed between jet nozzles and elastic waves and fine vibration from the adjacent jet nozzles are suppressed. CONSTITUTION:A narrow groove 13 is formed on the side in contact with the air in such a way as to surround plural jet nozzles 8, 9, 10, and 11 provided on the same flat plate 12. In jetting ink droplets, elastic waves propagating around the jet nozzle 9 at the center on the flat plate 12 is reflected at the groove 13 but does not propagate to the surrounding jet nozzles 9-11. Also, even when the elastic waves propagate on the surface the body 18 from an electric machine conversion element 14 and reach the jet nozzles, the delay of jet timing of ink droplets is eliminated and good shaped ink droplets are formed. |
