PURPOSE:To obtain a small-size and light-weight European typewritter driven by any power source by using a system in which the horn of crank is attached to the shaft of a motor to drive each of type bars in such a way as to act the point of force of the type bars on it, and the return is attained by the shrink force of a spring. CONSTITUTION:The type bars of an European typewritter are driven one by one by a motor by means of even battery, and the distances from the supporting points to the force points of the type bars are shortened relatively to miniaturize the whole size and also make its weight lighter. The horn of the crank is attached to the shaft of the motor, its circular movement is switched over to straightforward movement and acted on the points of force of the type bars, and the return is made by the shrink force of a spring. |
