PURPOSE:To provide a titlted drawing device which prevents the interference of a drawing carriage and pipe accepting carriages in the chucking stage of a pipe body with a simple constitution by providing a space for introdusion of the pipe accepting carriages to the drawing carriage which draws the pipe body from a metallic flask. CONSTITUTION:A drawing carriage 2 is moved while pipe accepting carriages 5a, 5b are pushed directly toward one end 1a of a rotary metallic flask 1 upon completion of casting in said flask, and is stopped in the position where the preceding end of a chucking device 10 is inserted into the socket of a pipe P. During this time, the vertically moving base 27 of the carriages 5a, 5b is beforehand held brought down so that said base can pass through the socket part of the pipe P. IN this state, the carriages 5a, 5b already enters the spacing 14 of the base 2, and even if the carriages 5a, 5b are held located between the flask 1 and the carriage 2, the pipe P can be gripped by the device 10. The carriage 2 is moved in the direction spacing from the flask 1 to draw the pipe P from the flask 1. When the carrige 2 moves to the position where the socket part of the pipe P passes beyond the carriages 5a, 5b, the base 27 is moved upward and while support rolls 29a, 29b are kept rotated at the peripheral speed slightly lower than the peripheral speed of the pipe P, the rolls are brought near the outside circumference of the pipe P; thereafter, the pipe is moved together with the base 2 and is transferred to the next stage. |
