For the purpose of improving the connection between the brush (1) and the handle (3), the brush holder (2) consists of a curved plate against which the brush (1) can be pressed by means of tightenable clasps (6) so that it is firmly connected thereto. The handle (3), in turn, can be connected to a tubular part (5), connected to the plate, so as to result in a firm connection between the handle (3) and the brush (1) which, however, can be released if required by releasing the clasps (6) from the plate. <IMAGE>
