摘要 PURPOSE:To improve low efficiency and deterioration of a flux of light in an electric discharge lamp emitting light approximately to 700-900nm infrared part, by sealing only rare gas at a certain level of specific low pressure without using a fluorescent material and utilizing emission of light approximate to infrared rays from a low voltage discharge of this rare gas. CONSTITUTION:A transparent tube is used and its internal diameter is formed to 16-38mm. then electrodes are provided to both ends of this tube to form a bulb for an electric discharge lamp, here only any one kind of rare gas as shown below is sealed at pressure in a below shown range in this discharge lamp bulb, or in case of mixing to use the below described rare gas, the rare gas of low ionization potential in divided pressure is sealed at pressure in a range as described in the following. 4.2torr>Xe>0.3torr, 5.0torr>Kr>0.3torr, 5.5torr>Ar> 0.3torr.
