PURPOSE:To provide the anticorrosion lining of a stern tube to positively realize anticorrosion capacity by providing a reinforcing layer between double sheets, each is composed by combining a comfiguration memory polyethylene layer and an asphalt denatured rubber adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:A strip of sheet 2 made of rubber type adhesive which is excellent in adhesiveness with a metal and polyethylene and waterproofness is wrapped around a stern tube 1 and caused to adhere to the pipe by heating. Next, said sheet 2 is fitted by a tube of configuration memory polyethylene 3 and it is caused to shrink around the sheet 2 by heat processing. After that, a strip of a metal or plastic reinforcing material 4 in the form of ribbon is wrapped around said tube 3, and further, a strip of rubber type adhesive sheet 5 is wrapped around over it, and then it is covered by a tube 6 of configuration memory polyethylene and it is caused to shrink and adhere to the lower adhesive sheet 5 by heat processing. By this arrangment, a positive anticorrosion lining can be made. |
