PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight with limited number of parts by driving means of printing on both sides of a paper and the like with a common driving means in a printer, such as automatic ticket checking apparatus into which the paper is fed at random thereby it is impossible to foretell whether the paper comes on the surface or the back. CONSTITUTION:This printer is equipped with first magnetic heads 19 and 20 for reading magnetic encoding information of a ticket along a delivery path 17 formed by a main delivery belt 13, second magnetic heads 21 and 22 for writing new information into a ticket reading synchronous pulses of the magnetic encoding information and a printing mechanism 33. The printing mechanism 33 is provided with a pair of thermal print heads 36 and 37 at the position facing each other sandwitching the delivery surface of the ticket. Impact due to pinching the ticket with the print heads 36 and 37 is absorbed by a spring while the print heads 36 and 37 are adjusted to ensure even pressing against the ticket. |
