PURPOSE:To provide an intermittent rotation equipment which is not inertially moved despite its bidirectional action, by providing an output shaft between a center shaft, which is turned back and forth, and an outer shaft concentric to the center shaft and rotatable in a prescribed angular range and by connecting the output shaft to both the other shafts through an inner and an outer one-way clutches inverse in the direction of rotation for engagement. CONSTITUTION:An intermittent rotation equipment is first turned as a whole in the forward rotation of a center shaft 22 by an angle alphao. When the equipment is turned by an angle theta, an outer shaft 25 is halted because of the contact of an adjusting screw 36 with a stopper 35 and no torque is transmitted between a one-way clutch 26 and an output shaft 20 but the torque of the center shaft is transmitted to the output shaft through another one-way clutch 23 because these clutches are inverse in the direction of rotation for engagement. The output shaft 20 is furthermore turned by an angle (alphao-theta) by the transmission of the torque. In the backward rotation of the center shaft 22 by an angle alphao, the outer shaft 25 is halted by the stopper 35 after the whole equipment is turned. In the rotation by an angle (alphao-theta) after the halting of the outer shaft 25, the one-way clutch 26 is engaged but the other one-way clutch 23 is disengaged so that the center shaft 22 returns while slipping. As a result, the output shaft 20 is relatively turned in a fixed direction by an angle alpha1=alphao-theta. |
