<p>PURPOSE:To enable to prevent such wastes as overheating and radiation loss of heat, by a method wherein any change in the temperature or the amount of residual hot water by a hot water supply load is automatically detected, and a heated-up water temperature in the next heating operation is reset in accordance with the change detected. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of sensors 4a-4c capable of operating by detecting the amount of residual hot water from the temperature of residual hot water are placed at appropriate intervals in the direction of height of a tank 2, and a plurality of temperature-sensing elements 5a, 5b for detecting a plurality of heated-up water temperature in heating by a heater 3 are provided. For each cycle, the amount of residual hot water is detected, one of the temperature- sensing elements 5a, 5b is selected, the heater 3 is driven through the element selected, and a heated-up water temperature is set. Accordingly, even when the temperature or the amount of residual hot water is changed by the hot water supply load, the change is automatically detected, and the heated-up water temperature in the next heating operation is reset in accordance with the change detected, whereby such wastes as overheating and radiation loss of heat can be prevented.</p> |
