PURPOSE:To automate positioning of a paste paper on an active-material packed electrode plate, and prevent any separation of an active material paste from the plate by providing between a shaft and the plate a roller which can freely move horizontally along the shaft, and has at its both ends flanges which are located with an interval over the width of a grid. CONSTITUTION:The position of a packing belt 10 shifts vertically to the moving direction of a belt-like grid 7, while the position of the grid 7 itself shifts vertically to its moving direction. However, since a roller 4 having flanges 3 at its both ends freely moves horizontally along a shaft 11 according to the positional shift of the grid 7, the relative positional relationship between a paste paper 5' and a belt-like grid 1 is not changed. Here, a crown roller 6 freely moves horizontally along a shaft 12, which is almost parallel to the shaft 11 of the roller 4, according to the positional shift of the paste paper 5' so as to prevent the paper 5' from being broken by the peripheral parts of the flanges 3 of the roller 4. |
