PURPOSE:To press the specified position of the work even if a backing member wears and to hold the work always stably by mounting the backing member slidably to an oscillating arm, and stopping the oscillating arm by means of stoppers in such a way that the axial center of the backing member intersects orthogonally with the work. CONSTITUTION:The work 3 is placed on the work supporting part 1A of a base body arm 1, and a cylinder rod 14B of a cylinder device 14A of a push-pull driving means 14 is operated in an extending direction. Then, an oscillating arm 4 connected indirectly to an engaging block 17 by means of a long hole 18 and a shaft 19 oscillates a backing member 8 in the direction where said member contacts with the work 3 by means of a spring 20, and is stopped in the position where the axial center of the member 8 intersects orthogonally with the work 3, by stoppers 21, 22. In succession, the rod 14B is operated and a pressurizing arm 15 connecting to the foremost end part 17A of the block 17 is driven in a direction A, so that the member 8 presses the work 3 powerfully with an engaging member 10. |
