To simplify the production of a gear case for turn-and-tilt fittings, especially connecting-rod gears for rotary-handle actuation, comprising two case half-shells having bores for fastening the rotary handle, and nevertheless to allow a screw connection with the rotary handle, at least one of the bores of one housing half-shell possesses a thread over one half of a sleeve which is divided in two longitudinally and is in one piece with the housing half-shell and the other half of which is part of the opposite bore of the other housing half-shell. A thread can also be injection-moulded in one sleeve half without particular difficulty, since an appropriate tool having a thread on its end face can be pushed in laterally and be withdrawn again. The housing half-shell therefore already comes equipped with a thread from the injection-moulding machine. |
