A rabbeted joining device for two bodies 1, 2 or pieces, such as bookcase parts, furniture parts or similar, where locking elements such as locking pins 5, locking heels or similar are provided for being fixedly arranged at each body at distances between each other, and where a part of the device is arranged to be inserted between said bodies and the locking elements arranged at each and any of same, said part comprising a shaft 11 rotatably journalled and axially fixed at one end 12 in a first locking member 9 and comprising a threaded portion 17 at which a second locking member 10 is rotatably arranged by means of a through threaded hole 19, where said locking members are arranged to approaching each other or being removed from each other by means of rotating the shaft, thereby clamping against, and thereby locking to, said locking elements at said bodies, which are thereby fixed at, and clamped to, each other. The device is in particular characterised in that a first and a second part are provided to be fixedly mounted at each respective of the two bodies 1, 2, where each part is constituted by a straight chute 3 or rail with preferably plane bottom 6 and with sides generally at right angles relative to the bottom, and where the chute 3 is rabbeted into the body 1, 2 forming a cavity opening at the surface of the body 1, 2, and where said locking pins 5 are fixedly arranged in the chute 3 such that the chute 3 comprises two locking pins arranged at a distance from each other and from the bottom 6 of the chute, and preferably near the ends of the chute 3, said locking pins 5 having their longitudinal directions extending crosswise to the longitudinal direction of the chute 3 and generally in parallel with the bottom 6 of the chute 3. The device is further characterised in that said locking members 9, 10 are arranged to be guided in said chutes 3 in directions towards or away from said locking pins 5, where each locking member 9, 10 in a way known per se comprises a first and a second wedge-shaped part, intended for being inserted between locking pin 5 and chute bottom 6 in each respective chute 3. <IMAGE> |
