MAGNETIC AZIMUTH DETECTOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To make easy, accurate magnetization corrections by eliminating a desired offset value between outputs of magnetic sensors provided to a moving body. CONSTITUTION:A magnetized iron plate 18 generates offset magnetic flux by magnetization in an X- and Y-directionally decomposed state approximately from equivalent magnetic poles +mx and -mx on the X axis and +my and -my on the Y axis. Then, the magnetic sensors 19 and 20 like this are arranged at the same position of a car ceiling at different heights to measure offset variation due to the magnetization; an undesired offset operating on one sensor and the offset value is removed from the output of the sensor.
