发明名称 ELECTROSPARK MACHINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To shake off the chips generated during machining at the tip of an electrode by means of vibration, eliminate the leakage of fluid and contrive to stabilize the discharge state by a structure wherein an oscillatable tuning fork, from the basic part to the tip part of which a through hole is bored and at the tip opening of which a machining electrode is held, is provided at the tip of the electrical discharge machine. CONSTITUTION:During the boring of a work piece 16, work fluid with 50kg/cm<2> or more in pressure is pressure-fed to a high pressure hose 6 by means of a hydraulic pump ad jetted through the through hole 5 and the machining electrode 7 out of the tip part 7b thereof, resulting in cooling the machining electrode 7 and removing the chips generated during machining. Furthermore, for supplement of the cooling and removing actions, low pressure work fluid is pressure-fed to a low pressure hose 10 by means of a hydraulic pump in order to be jetted through a through hole 9 out of slits 13 against the work piece 16. After that, a coil 4 is turned ON in order to oscillate the tuning fork 1 for boring. In this case, the distance between the tip part 7b of the machining electrode 7 and the work piece 16 is properly controlled by automatically and vertically moving the tuning fork 1 by means of a servo mechanism.
