PURPOSE:To provide a heat sensitive recording sheet with an excellent head mtaching property which produces a colored image excellent in the recording density and the clearness in the high speed recording by providing a heat sensitive coloring layer mainly composed of a specific coloring substance, a color developing substance and a coloring assistant. CONSTITUTION:A heat sensitive coloring layer mainly composed of a coloring substance as given by formula (R1-2 represents alkyl with C1-6 and X halogen), organic acid (e.g. 2,2'-bis (p-hydroxyphenyl) propane) as color developing substance and hot melting substance (e.g. amido fatty acid based wax) with a melting point of 80 deg.C-150 deg.C as coloring assistant with an average grain size by volume ranging -0.01-1.5mu is provided on a supporting body (e.g. paper and synthetic resin film) to form a heat sensitive recording sheet. The mixing ratio of the coloring substance., the orgnanic acid and the hot melting substance is appropriately 1/1-5/1-5 (by weight). The mixture thereof is applied and dried on the supporting body to make a heat sensitive coloring layer at the thickness of about 3-10mu. |
