<p>The system for recording and reproducing wide bandwidth signals may be used for the processing of radar signals. A tape recorder with rotating heads, such as is used for video recording, receives the radar signals via a processing circuit. A separation circuit provides synchronisation signals to the motor turning the heads. A video signal input receives the signals from a scanning radar system, and an output reproduces the signals for utilisation. A connection circuit between the video input, the processing circuit, and a synchronisation signal generator provides synchronisation signals to the separation circuit which conform to the usual sync. signals used in tv. The tape recorder may alternatively be an audio machine with multiple inputs, in which case the inputs are digitally multiplexed for recording.</p> |
