A device for the three-dimensional detection and locating of objects at rest or moving uniformly from a carrier of the device flying over these objects is described, consisting of a component for wide-angle stereoscopic detection with the aid of a rotating 45 DEG deflection mirror, a fixed mirror for the second pick-up direction and a receiver mirror which is parallel to the axis of rotation, and of a laser range finder to which a rotating laser end mirror is allocated. In this arrangement, a laser receiving device separate from the scan receiving device is provided which contains a laser transmitting and laser receiving mirror which can be rotated in two axes relative to the scan deflection mirror or can be locked.
