PURPOSE:To improve the using efficiency of a CPU without lowering the processing speed, by using one set of CPU for an MODEM and a system control unit. CONSTITUTION:A system control unit 1 is provided with a CPU11, an ROM12, an RAM13, a signal processing processor 14, an input/output interface I/O 15, and an analog I/O 16 performing D/A and A/D conversion. The unit 1 is connected with a data compression reproducer 2, a panel I/O 5, a mechanical I/O 4 and a network controller 6, and also a video processor unit 21, and a printer connected to a recording line 22. Further, the ROM12 in the unit 1 is provided with a transmission procedure program, each device controlling program, a program for transmission/reception processing of data MODEM and a supervisory program managing them in the lapse of time. |
