<p>PURPOSE:To avoid an inadvertent operation of a control knob when an audio device is not in use and to keep a good condition of the device, by securing such a mechanism that a front panel moves back with the control knob exposed when a power supply is applied and then the front panel moves forward when the poser supply is turned off with the control knob depressed. CONSTITUTION:A motor 4 rotates as soon as the power supply of an audio device is applied. Thus a cam 41 is rotated toward an arrow mark via a belt, a gear, etc., and a contact 61 gets out of a lock groove and is pushed out toward a larger diameter of the cam 41. In this case, a slider 6 attached with the contact 61 compresses a spring 5. Thus a supporter 31 moves back by the reactive force of the spring 5, and therefore a front panel 3 also moves back. At the same time, a control knob 1 is exposed toward the outside. Under such conditions, the motor 4 stops. When the power supply is cut off, the motor 4 is driven instantaneously with the power supply cut-off pulse. The contact 61 shifts to the minimum lift position from the maximum lift position of the cam 41. Therefore the supporter 31 and then the knob 1 are moved forward with an extension of the spring 5 to be depressed into the device.</p> |
