<p>PURPOSE:To utilize a manual paper feed mechanism and also perform an automatic paper feed in a paper feeder having an automatic paper feed mechanism and the manual paper feed mechanism, by removably providing the second manual paper feedable automatic paper feed mechanism in a side of the manual paper feed mechanism. CONSTITUTION:This paper feed cassette 23 with a manual feeder provided to the upper of an automatic paper feed cassette in a copying machine or the like is removably mounted to the side part of a case 1 through a paper feed mechanism 24. The cassette 23 is operated such that in case of an automatic paper feed, a manual feed guide 134 is moved to a direction L to separably feed the uppermost paper in a cassette main unit 130 by rotation of a paper feed roller 93A. While in case of a manual paper feed, the guide 134 is moved to a direction M to lift a guide roller 94A against a spring 95A by a guide point end 134a and separate the roller 93A from the uppermost paper. Then under this condition, the cassette is formed capable to feed paper by inserting the paper from the guide 134.</p> |
