PURPOSE:To attain the accurate personal collation of a user by using two fingerprint image monitors to collate directly a fingerprint image with an original paper fingerprint with the same magnifying power and simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:In a collation mode a user puts his/her finger on a fingerprint scanner 1. Thus the user's fingerprint is directly read and delivered as a direct fingerprint image. This fingerprint image is supplied to an ID card device 2 and then to a fingerprint image monitor 3 after picture processing. While a fingerprint original paper scanner 4 reads out the fingerprint out of the original paper and supplies it to the device 2. The original paper fingerprint image undergoes the picture processing through the device 2 and is supplied to an original paper fingerprint image monitor 5. Then an operator analyzes the fingerprint images displayed on both monitors 3 and 5 respectively for confirmation of personal collation. |
