PURPOSE:To control the connection of data terminals from a general telephone set, by using a special number for data terminal connection. CONSTITUTION:In dialing the number of the special number and a data terminal Ta by an extension telephone set A to control the connection of the data terminal Ta in the vicinity, a central controller CC analyzes the specific number with a number analyzer NAE to check whether or not the extension A can control the terminal Ta, and when no restriction exists, the 2nd dial tone is transmitted to the extension A. The extension A dials the other data terminal or the number of a host computer Tb desired to be connected to the terminal Ta. The central controller CC connects the terminal Ta and the computer Tb with the known method via a data trunk DT and a service set tone SST is given to the extension A for the completion of connection. |
