<p>Nicotinamide 1-cyclohexanol- alpha-butyrate is prepd. by reaction of equimolar quantities of 1-cyclohexanol - alpha-butyric acid and nicotinamide in ethanol between 25-50 deg.C with stirring. Following reduced-pressure evapn. at 50-60 deg.C the pptd. prod. is recrystallised from alcohol at about 0 deg.C. The prod. has useful choleretic properties.</p> |
