<p>The removable valve consists of a split ring (5) each half of which fits under the hollow rim at the top of the aerosol can (1). The two half-rings are held in place by an outer nut (8). The valve (11) is screwed into the split ring (5). The central passage of the valve is extended in the form of a chisel-edged tube (12). When the valve is screwed down, the tube (12) punches the membrane (3) of the aerosol. A sealing ring (14) ensures a gas tight installation.</p> |
